At Barton Veterinary Centre we employ Vets Now to cover emergency out of hours.
It is not feasible to be on duty every hour of every day all year around and still give the quality of care that we aim for. It is unsafe to ask a Vet who has been working on-call through the night to operate on your pet the following morning.
By employing Vets Now we know that our clients are going to receive excellent care in an emergency, provided to them by Vets and Nurses who are working specifically only when other practices are closed. Importantly this allows them to not only carry out the initial examination but they are able to operate and monitor throughout the night ensuring your pet will receive a level of 24 hour care that we would expect for ourselves in an emergency. Without using a dedicated out-of-hours service this would not be possible.
The staff employed at Vets Now have chosen to specialise in emergency practice and are equipped for all eventualities. At discharge a report is sent to us so we will be aware of all treatments before we see your pet the next day.
